A Japanese LADY

I was riding in the woman-only train car today. They have the cars because things can become crowded and in such cases, men often take the opportunity to "cop a feel" of woman's bodies.

I'm not sure what I would do in such an instance. The men do it because with so many others around, there is ambiguity. If I couldn't figure out who did it, I could not risk accusing someone falsely. If I did catch who did it, I do not think I could do nothing. I know it would be highly-frowned upon to start a "scene" or execute physical violence in Japan. I know if I did, I would be an "uncivilized American." But I am outraged that these men take advantage of this. If I knew who did it, I would want to knee them in their own genitalia! Teach them a lesson >:-I

In the car I had the realization: I have not seen a woman in Japan "cross her legs," they way both woman and men do in western cultures. Their legs are not crossed at the ankle; they are not crossed at the knees; their legs are straight-forward and not necessarily without space between them.
